Evaluate the precursor, thermal route, powder-processing boundary and validation plan before industrial scale-up.
Hard-carbon production begins with precursor validation.
For sodium-ion battery anode materials, the equipment proposal must follow the precursor, thermal history, impurity profile and target powder specification. A biomass carbonizer alone is not an electrode-material production line.

Separate the thermal package from the complete material plant
The final line may require several specialist packages beyond the carbonization furnace.
Precursor preparation
Washing, drying, size reduction and impurity control depend on whether the source is coconut shell, bamboo, lignin, starch, resin or another precursor.
Thermal profile
Pre-carbonization and high-temperature treatment have different atmosphere, temperature-uniformity, residence-time and material-handling requirements.
Powder processing
Milling, classification, purification and optional coating determine particle distribution, impurity level and surface characteristics.
Validation laboratory
Agree the analytical methods and cell-testing route before treating capacity or yield as a commercial acceptance value.
Evidence required before industrial scale-up
YUSHUNXIN recommends a stage-gated route based on representative samples.
Raw-material consistency
Document source, seasonality, ash, moisture, bulk density, elemental impurities and expected lot-to-lot variation.
Sample traceability
Keep each precursor lot, recipe, thermal curve and resulting powder sample linked through a controlled record.
Acceptance basis
Define powder specifications and independent electrochemical testing methods with the customer or downstream material partner.
Scale-up boundary
Confirm furnace atmosphere, heating method, cooling, material containment, off-gas treatment and quality-control sampling points.
Translate project facts into an equipment list.
This reference matrix shows the decision logic. Final quantities, models and interfaces belong in the approved project proposal.
| System block | Typical scope | Configuration basis |
|---|---|---|
| Precursor preparation | Cleaning, drying, size control and impurity management | Representative precursor and lot consistency |

Advance the project only when the required evidence is available.
Each gate turns customer information into a defined technical or commercial output for the next decision.

Answers define the engineering boundary; they do not replace representative material testing or local compliance review.
Is a biomass carbonization furnace a complete hard-carbon production line?
No. A complete route may include precursor cleaning, pre-carbonization, high-temperature carbonization, milling, classification, purification, surface treatment and validation.
Which precursor can be used?
Coconut shell, bamboo, lignin, starch, resin and other carbon-rich precursors can be evaluated, but each requires testing for impurities, consistency and thermal behavior.
When should industrial capacity be selected?
After representative samples have been processed and the customer has agreed the powder specification, testing method and acceptable scale-up evidence.
Does YUSHUNXIN guarantee battery performance?
No. Equipment scope and process development are separated from cell-performance claims. Final material performance requires controlled testing by the customer or an agreed laboratory.
Define the material before selecting the equipment.
Share a representative material description, available volume, site status and target outputs. YUSHUNXIN will use those facts to prepare the relevant process boundary and configuration discussion.
